Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) for First-Year Students with Learning Disabilities

Description:

Landmark College serves students with learning and attention disabilities.  In 2014, the College introduced Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) within its First-Year Studies curriculum. The expansion of the SMART project with a Program Development Grant from Bringing Theory to Practice allowed Landmark College to research the effect of the tool on first-year students’ skill-building, academic outcomes, wellness, and resiliency.
