Supported by a Well-Being Seminar grant from Bringing Theory to Practice, the Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts (BISLA) researched the effects of regional political cultures on civic engagement in post-communist central Europe. Students, faculty, and community practitioners tracked indicators of subjective well-being, quality of life, and perceptions of social and civic health. Their findings were presented and analyzed at a 2016 multi-day seminar at BISLA, and the resulting research and essays were published in The Liberal Herald journal.
